I grew up in the small northern Ontario town of South Porcupine. My family and I moved to Meaford in the summer of 2013 to be closer to our family – and it’s the second-best decision I ever made. The first? Joining the hearing healthcare world.
When I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, a close family friend barely survived a car accident. As part of his rehab, I was introduced to communication sciences, and after seeing the life-changing impact that hearing healthcare has on one’s quality of life, I immediately changed my study focus from business to audiology.
As the clinic owner and doctor of audiology, I oversee all clinic operations. Most importantly, I get to directly impact the quality of life of individuals who choose me as their hearing healthcare provider; whether through hearing improvement or earwax removal, I’m proud to be part of their journey through hearing care.
Helping my patients through their hearing health journey with the help of hearing assessments and education around the impact of hearing loss is the most gratifying experience. Seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing the life-changing stories patients tell me about how better hearing health has changed their lives makes me continue to bring my best self to the clinic each day.
Outside of work, dancing, listening to music, and spending time in nature make my soul sing! I love to travel and spend time with my two adult children. You can often find me in the gym training and prepping my body to compete as a bikini athlete!
